Inside BetsAll bets on any of the numbers are known as inside bets. You are allowed to make inside bets on as many combinations of numbers as you want. It's important to note that most casinos will also have a minimum "inside" wager requirement. Even though the table minimum might be $1, there usually is a minimum "spread" requirement of $5 on all inside bets. This means that you need to bet a total of $5 when betting on inside numbers. You can do this as a single $5 number bet, or as five $1 number bets. Minimum spreads vary from casino to casino. Some casinos don't have a minimum. Straight UpYou can bet on any number on the table (1-36, 0) by placing a chip on it. Winning bets are paid at 35 to 1. Split (2 Number Bet)A bet can be placed on two adjacent numbers by placing a chip on the line between them. If the ball lands on either number, you win. The odds are 17 to 1. Corner BetBetting on any four adjacent numbers is possible by placing the chip on the corner, where all four numbers meet. A winning bet is paid out at 8 to 1. Street BetA bet can be made on any three numbers in a row across the table by placing a chip on the outer line of that row. If the ball lands on any of the three numbers, you win the bet at 11 to 1. Six Number BetThis bet is placed on the outside line, between two rows, covering six numbers. The bet is won if the ball lands on any of these six numbers. The payout is 6 to 1. Line BetBetting on six adjoining numbers, indicated by placing the chip on the line at the edge of the number layout straddling the two rows you wish to bet on. Pays 5 to 1. |
